 Horrible queso, Awful bean dip, salsa is okay Oct 03, 2009

I like the regular Arriba! fire-roasted salsa (which, for a jarred salsa, works nicely), so I tried this to sample other Arriba! products.
Oh, man. What were they thinking? The queso is very hot, yes, lots of chiles, but also kinda watery and not the cheesy loveliness that queso should be. The bean dip is bland and has a nasty texture, not the creamy yumsiness bean dip should be.
Only try the salsas from this company. The other products are a huge, huge disappointment. Even to a Mexican food junkie like me, these were unacceptable. I threw the queso and bean dip jars away after sampling. Waste of moolah.
Big thumbs down for two of the three.

"price vs. quality"
I like this product. Sort of a generic mexican taste but very edible. No complaints from the family,they ate them all very quickly. A little overpriced though.
